Mark A. Margolis, M.D.
Dr. Margolis joined Metro Anesthesia in the fall of 2005, and currently serves as Chair of the Compliance Committee.
Dr. Margolis received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Connecticut College and is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at Tulane University and served as Chief Resident. Prior to moving to Dallas, he was a member of the clinical faculty of both Tulane University School of Medicine and Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Margolis had a full-time clinical practice at Touro Infirmary from 1996 through 2005. He has been board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology since 1996 and is an active member in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Society of Anesthesiology, Dallas County Anesthesia Society, and Dallas County Medical Society. He serves as the Texas Anesthesiology representative to the Medicare Contractor Advisory Committee. He also serves on hospital committees at multiple facilities.
Happily married for over 25 years, Dr. Margolis has two grown daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys men’s and mixed doubles tennis, enology, fine arts and sports including The New Orleans Saints. Prior to coming to Dallas, he and his family were very involved with in the Jewish community of New Orleans, Touro Infirmary and other philanthropic and charitable organizations. Since, joining the Dallas community he and his family have continued their community involvement and philanthropy.
