Charles R. Sessions, M.D.

 
Dr. Sessions is one of the founding members of Metro Anesthesia, and currently serves as a member of the Compensation Committee.

Dr. Sessions is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas. He completed his internship at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, and subsequently served in the United States Air Force with the rank of major. While in the Air Force, he completed his Residency in Anesthesiology at Wilford Hall Regional Medical Center, Lackland AFB, San Antonio. He is a member of the American Medical Association and its state and local affiliates, America Society of Anesthesia and Texas and Dallas County Anesthesia Societies. He served as secretary on the medical board at Baylor University Medical Center and Chief of Anesthesia Services at Mary Shiels Hospital, now known as Baylor Medical Center at Uptown.

He and Mrs. Sessions, a Senior Vice-President of Briggs-Freeman Real Estate Brokerage, have three children and eight grandchildren which explains what most of his extracurricular activities involve.
