Amit Mirchandani, M.D.
Dr. Mirchandani joined Metro Anesthesia in 2011 and currently serves as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
After graduating with honors from Rhodes College with a degree in Biology, Dr. Mirchandani attended the University of Tennessee, where he received his medical degree and was a Bland W. Cannon Scholarship recipient. He then went on to complete his Residency in Anesthesiology at Yale University as well as a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Mirchandani is currently board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. He is also board certified in Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Mirchandani is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology as well as the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Mirchandani likes traveling, playing basketball, reading and trying to be a comedian to his kids.
